Everyday makeup essentials for me <3

IMG_1114Hello my lovely ladies, I thought I would switch things up a little today after all it has been a very long time since the last post.  So today as I haven’t been able to read in a while I thought I would bring you my everyday essentials that I am currently wearing while on placements for my final year of nursing and what I wear on my days off where I need to put some makeup to cover the stress breakouts I am having (essay, and interviews eek).

YSL ink fusion foundation light/medium coverage.
Rimmel scandaleyes flex, black mascara.
Master smoky, Jumbo eyeliner pencil in BLACK. Includes smudger.
Rimmel London, stay matte powder.
Smashbox wonder vision palette. I used the bronzer and a mixture of the blush.

Everything I have just shown is all I used to create this basic makeup look, which is what I use ALL THE TIME! I seriously need to switch it up and start trying new products but I need the MONEY :p story of everyone’s life, cannot wait to get a job in September.  If you would like a review on any of the products above please leave a comment below, I know I have not yet reviews the Ink Fusion foundation by YSL, so if you’re interested like this post, share it and comment below and I will have that up for you in the next couple days as I am currently off for Easter for another two weeks :D, as well as writing my dissertation (extended project).  So I hope you all enjoyed a brief look into what I used to achieve the makeup look, I will experiment more. 1. I have that YSL foundation too!! I find it look so beautiful for the first hour but then i look weirdly oily and dry at the same time for he rest of the day. Do you use a primer with this? It looks lovely on you

    1. Hey, I have exactly the same issue no matter what I try, different creams, primers and my face is patchy and oily and dry too after about4 hours 😩.
Thankyou for the compliment I took this photo straight after doing my makeup but it was patchy when I came home. X

      1. I’m glad I’m not the only one! I’ve had soooo many bad skin days with this. Have you tried double wear light? It’s the best one I’ve found for staying put and lasting all day. I find I don’t need to powder it either. I find it works really well with a silicone primer.
