Naasir is the most feral of the powerful group of vampires and angels known as the Seven, his loyalty pledged to the Archangel Raphael. When rumors surface of a plot to murder the former Archangel of Persia, now lost in the Sleep of the Ancients, Naasir is dispatched to find him. For only he possesses the tracking skills required-those more common to predatory animals than to man.
Enlisted to accompany Naasir, Andromeda, a young angelic scholar with dangerous secrets, is fascinated by his nature-at once playful and brilliant, sensual and brutal. As they race to find the Sleeping archangel before it’s too late, Naasir will force her to question all she knows . . . and tempt her to walk into the magnificent, feral darkness of his world. But first they must survive an enemy vicious enough to shatter the greatest taboo of the angelic race and plunge the world into a screaming nightmare . . .
Welcome back book bloggers, or readers. It has taken me a long time to review a book, HUGE apologies for that, work is super busy and when I come home all I want to do is to go to sleep. Anyway, I am reviewing a book I bought myself, you probably guessed it would be this book if you follow me on Twitter or Instagram. I love the Guild Hunter series by Nalini Singh. Includes romance, some action and my favourite fantasy/supernatural.
I love reviewing this series because most of the books are about different characters following the same story line. This obviously makes each book more interesting because, if you liked a certain character in the books then there is probably a book in the series about them, but you have to read them in order to understand the story.
Archangels Legion book review
Fantasy erotic book series : Guildhunter series.
Archangels storm : book by Nalini Singh
First of all this is the international cover for the book which I prefer however, America uses this cover: You can see Naasir in the claw marks (CLUE)
Naasir has always been in the books as he is one of Raphael’s trusted, and previously in the series I have read about Elena becoming curious about Naasir, as he is classed as a vampire, however there is more to him than that…. Only Andromeda figures out what he really is, but then again she is a scholar.
I loved this book! Unfortunately it took me ages to get into it but that is because I just kept putting it down and then becoming busy (my own fault). However this week I went to bed early just to read this book, and I was hooked I read the last 200 pages in two nights. I already have the next book Archangels Heart ready to go.
Nalini Singh has a way of drawing you into the lives of each character. Every book reveals secrets and makes this whole new world more interesting. Come on a world where Angels/Archangels, and Vampires are well known and free to walk among us, while being respected, sign me up. Each scene is so descriptive that I could picture it all, even dreamt about it.
The relationship between Naasir and Andromeda throughout the book is progressive. Full of sexual tension, friendship, respect and possessive. I really enjoyed learning about both Naasir and Andromeda’s backgrounds- they are definitely interesting, full of shame, and mystery. Naasir’s character had me giggling throughout because of his awkward social interactions, where as the knowledge Andromeda shares, and the way she respects the “elders” and Raphael kept me intrigued. Such an unlikely couple.

Big events happen in this book. Another ancient Archangel is woken due to the Cascade, Illium is gaining new powers which he can’t control, making Raphael step up further.
Lijuan as usual is causing trouble by wanting to create a “new world”, which of course means getting rid of her competition, Raphael is near the top of her list especially after his attack on her in the last book. She still has not recovered, where as Raphael is forming new tattoos on his body from new powers he doesn’t truly understand.
The whole book is a rescue mission after Andromeda is captured by Lijuans main man Xi. Naasir was meant to protect her, so of course his new mission is to bring her back without getting spotted, but he realises she is the “mate” he has been looking for. However Andromeda has a vow of celibacy. You have to read the book to see how that affects Naasir’s plans. During the rescue they both uncover new secrets about Lijuan, and the Archangel they must protect.

Overall I was extremely happy with the book.
There were some reviews I read where people were unhappy with Andromeda’s celebacy as they expected Naasir to have a wild sex life. But I enjoyed reading about them learning new things about one another, reminded me more of Raphael and Elena’s story.
I recommend this book to you all it was fantastic.

How long have you been a blogger?
I have been blogging for over 2 years now. I originally started on blogger, and was there for about a year before moving to WordPress which offered more for me.
Blogging about books was the main reason for me starting my blog, unfortunately I have not always been able to post about books as much as I would like, which has meant I have posed about beauty products as well.
At which point do you think you will stop?
I don’t want to ever stop. But I am sure one day life may become too busy, or my career may change, who knows what the future holds.
One of my dreams was to perhaps work in publishing or write my own book. However my life changed, I didn’t know how to get onto the publishing ladder, and I was not able to come up with a story for my own book that was even half as interesting as the books I read now. Therefor I became a nurse (don’t get me wrong it is a rewarding job) however it is not my true passion. I love books and will never stop reading.
What is the best part?
Being able to share my passion with all of you, and my new followers.
I love to be able to review a book, interact with the authors, share a great book with other people, and blogging allows that interaction. I have met so many people on here and twitter who love the same books, and we have shared other recommendations with each other.
Through blogging I have been sent many books to review, and they have all been amazing. I wish I could have more time to read them, and share them all with you. I spend my time doing everything an adult does haha.
Who’s your book crush?
OOOO now we are in dangerous waters, haha! I have so many book crushes, my real life fiancé hates when I compare him to them. I also get drawn in my fantasy characters, thats the daydreamer in me.
Christian Grey – Fifty shades of Grey (But I think a sexy millionaire with secrets/badboy is always a attraction for women).
Gideon Cross- Crossfire series (Another millionaire, sexy with a secretive past, but secretly emotional, vulnerable).
Raphael- Guild Hunter series (A sexy Archangel, it’s the fantasy and power that draws me in with him).
What author would you like to have on your blog?
This is a mean question, there are so many I would love to have on my blog. Most of them you can probably tell if you follow me as I am always promoting them:
Nalini Singh, Sylvia Day, Stephanie Meyer, E.L.James. There are so many more but they are the big names I would love. In fact Nalini Singh has re-tweeted a lot of my blog posts which was amazing.
What do you wear when writing posts?
Haha well this is embarrassing. I am sitting here right now in my pyjamas, a blanket and fluffy socks. Now don’t judge, I am extremely comfortable hehe. I wear a uniform all week so on the weekend and evenings I spend my time in leggings or pyjamas because I cannot stand to be uncomfortable.
How long does it take you to prepare a post?
Actually I do try to think about a post all week, but sometimes I am stuck. I don’t get to read often so it takes me a while to get a book review on here so I will either repost to promote other books or I will do something book related. But the actual typing does not take me long at all and I try to get the work done within an hour.
That was fun. I would love to read why you’re a book blogger, please leave a link below. I really want to know your Book crushes.
I know a lot of you will wonder why I don’t post a lot but that is purely because being a nurse is a big job, I work 37.5-40 hours a week, sometimes more and when I come home I am exhausted and tend to eat and sleep and then repeat until the end of the week. At the moment I am currently reading my own books I have bought. My current read is Archangels Enigma (picture in the post above) by Nalini Singh and I am 207 pages into it and I am loving it. Of course I will be reviewing the book at the end. I will then read a book from the ones that have been sent to me to review. But thank you for following me and continuing to support me it means a lot.
I’ve waited a really, really, really long time for this day…almost two-and-a-half years, to be precise. But now, I finally have control back over my own destiny. To celebrate my newfound freedom I’ve re-released Starstruck at the special price of $2.99, for a limited time only. That’s 372 pages of romance, mystery, suspense, hot rock stars, […]
