L’Oreal True match foundation: Before and After

Hello all, and welcome back to my blog.
Before we get started don’t forget to press that follow/subscribe button to keep up to date with all books/beauty related posts.

As a lot of you liked my before and after post of the Smashbox Pore minimizing primer I thought I would do the same for the L’Oreal True match foundation.

Lets get started shall we:

Please remember that I had to use the flash to take both these pictures, this made my foundation look a lot paler than normal, my shade is rose Ivory.

I don’t really need to explain much here, the pictures show the amount of coverage, and this was with just 2 pumps.  It covered my redness and spots perfectly, that’s hard to do.  For those of you who haven’t read my previous posts: my skin can be oily, but most of the time I have a lot of breakouts and dry skin over.  This makes it hard for me when buying foundations because, in the past I have found, even some high end foundations have sunk in around my spots, making them more obvious when I would have been better to not where makeup at all.

I first used my primer from Smashbox as a base, and then applied the true match foundation with a real techniques base complexion sponge.  There is no concealer used.

I have been loving the results of this foundation the last couple months, and the coverage has been amazing.  The best part is, this foundation only cost £9.99 from Boots.
I would however recommend that this foundation be applied using a sponge, as I find brushes sometimes left streaks.  I don’t know if anyone else has found this?

The new vision of skin matching technology. With the finest pigments, invisible to the naked eye and a creamy ultra-gliding texture for a unique silky touch. Giving you a natural finish. The new technology captures the undertones from warm, neutral to cool. (Loreal)

I used to use the old true match foundation and hated it.  But this new version has a more liquid consistency, which I have found to make the foundation easier to blend.
I will definitely be repurchasing this in the future.
