My Favourite spot to read in my house is on my sofa ( Super excited for my new ones coming soon), all the big lights off, and just leave my small light behind me on.  Have a Yankee candle lit and flickering away in the corner….. favourite scent for autumn is Cinnamon, my other half loves it too.  I will cuddle under a blanket with my hot chocolate and get lost in the pages of a book.
My second favourite spot is of course my bed, who doesn’t love sinking into bed with a fluffy duvet when it is cold.

While looking around the internet I saw some dream spots to read in and wanted to share them with you…..  (I have copied all images and added via the image URL

*Blogtober day 11*The Messenger Book Tour

Title: The Messenger
Series: The Archangel Trilogy #1
Author: TM Smith
Genre: Paranormal Romance
Release Date: September 25, 2018

For centuries Gabriel, Michael and Lucifer have worked together, coexisting in the same universe. Gabriel chooses to remain silent and secluded, preferring the garden in the Hall of Souls. He dances beneath the Tree of Life, barefoot and with reckless abandon…until the day he looks into the eyes of another angel and sees the dreams he’s kept silent mirrored there.

Eons have passed since the moment Michael came to be the general of the All Father’s army in heaven, the protector of mankind. Michael has been in love with Lucifer for as long as he can remember, their relationship second only to his bond with the All Father. But lately, Michael has begun to notice cracks in the surface of their love, sensing that his lover is not as angelic as he seems.

Lucifer was the All Father’s first creation, the bringer of light, his Morning Star. He has sat to the right of the throne every day since the dawn of time. Two things were tasked to the Archangels from the start: put no other before the All Father, and protect the humans he cherishes. Lucifer challenges both sacred rules. He puts his love for Michael before his love for his creator, and he questions his creator’s wisdom when it comes to the atrocities he has seen committed by mankind.

One will fall while two remain and grow stronger. A battle of wills is on the horizon, and not only mankind, but the fate of all beings will hang in the balance.

“Interesting gay romance take on God and His angels” ~ Amazon Review

A military brat born and raised at Ft. Benning Georgia; TM Smith is an avid reader, reviewer and writer. A Texas transplant, she now calls DFW her home. Most days she can be found curled up with a good book, or ticking away on her next novel.

Smith is a single mom of three disturbingly outspoken and decidedly different kids, one of which is Autistic. Besides her writing, she is passionate about Autism advocacy and LGBT rights. Because, seriously people, Love is Love!

*Blogtober day 10*My Sons Bookshelf – Children’s Books.

Hello my lovelies, a different bookshelf today…. my son is 3 months old and we have started introducing books to him. He loves colourful and is really starting to take interest. I have even added two books that were mine when I was young.

His room is quite small so we opted for some bookshelf ledges from Homebase. This is only a small collection I plan to add so many more. His first two shelves include :

  • A world of Winnie the pooh ( this was mine from when I was little, lots of stories and a well loved book).
  • Double book pack Room on the Broom and a snail on the whale, which is on the reverse (baby shower gift).
  • The tale of Benjamin bunny (received this on my baby shower).
  • Tyrannosaurus drip ( from our stay in Bristol hospital a charity called cots for tots gave every child in the NICU a book. This was Clayne’s and he loves it).
  • Beatrix potter ( collection of stories, again this was mine from childhood).
  • Lion king.

  • Beowolf
  • Old Mac Donald heard a parp. ( got this as a baby shower gift did not realise I had to make noises in the story haha, was a laugh between me and Craig).
  • Shiver me timbers.
  • The other two little books I received from my health visitor as a way to encourage all children to be read to by their parents.

Lily Novak’s life in Crystal Cove, Maine is just about perfect. She has a

Ty Parker knew fear in the Army, but nothing like the panic of seeing smoke billow from Lily’s building. When a dryer fire brings him face to face with the heart-stopping Lily Novak—and her lacy black thong—he can’t deny the chemistry sparking between them.
As their feelings deepen, Lily’s evasiveness reignites the self-doubt Ty has been battling for years. Lily knows her secrets are putting her relationship with Ty at risk, but telling him the truth puts both their lives in danger. She’s just not sure she’s strong enough to sacrifice her heart to keep the man she loves safe from the secrets of her past.
