Hey all, a little bit late but thought lets have a look back at November. Since really trying to put more posts out, some more unique, as well as more effort put into my book related posts, I have noticed my views increase which makes me a lot happier. I want to include content you will all love. So lets look back at November….
Christmas is a hard time for gift giving. I find myself constantly trying to sneakily find out what the person wants (but I am never so subtle). I have compiled a small list of presents that I have given to the men in my life, this may help you. But remember your family and friends love you, so do not break the bank trying to get the BEST present if you cannot afford it.
This little list can be used for dads, Grandad, Brothers, Husbands etc. It was hard to get together as I find most men tend to buy what they want. I even asked my other half Craig to help and he was stumped.
Wallets. (You can personalise these too).
Games that are the top ones to get this Christmas include (These are mainly for PS4 as that is what Craig has:
God of War. God of War. …
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. …
Us ladies are a little tricky to buy for. However Craig always knows the perfect gift to get me each year, so perhaps he should be writing this post. Last year he bought me straighteners and a hair dryer because I was moaning all year that I needed them (Just proves he listens to me sometimes haha). Gifts all depend on what lady you’re buying them for. I am going to base this post on sisters, wife, mum, nan.
I find with my mum in particular and Craig’s that they both prefer more sentimental gifts. The same for both my nan’s. This can be a:
Necklace with your birthstone and maybe include your siblings.
Jewellery box engraved.
Charm for a bracelet.
Or depending on their likes, you could create a cute gift basket full of their favourite things. (This shows effort and again very personal).
Many sites such as Amazon include a lot of personalised gifts, I have previously bought my mum a necklace with mine and my sisters name on. A Jewellery box the year before engraved. She has loved every single one because it was personal.
Again something sentimental always works. Or just something you know she really wants for example:
Playing cards with 52 reasons why you love her.
Photo album with added personal extras, like small paragraphs of how you felt in each picture. Or funny moments together.
Another gift basket full of her favourite things, can also be funny or create a night in box, giving you two some much needed time together.
If you know her favourite makeup brand go and ask the women who work their for a makeup palette or their best selling product. This shows more thought than a gift card. (Craig did this for me one year and I loved that he took the effort to go in to town to look).
Now sisters I find more tricky. I always struggle with mine but I just need to remind myself what does she really like. For my sister she is a huge fan of Harry potter (Used to be Twilight). So for her I can buy anything Harry potter and she would love it. We normally set a spending limit on each other. For Craig’s sister she is a huge fan of Doctor Who, so last Christmas I bought her a pair of Tardis earrings and a pair of sonic screwdriver earrings. This can all depend on the age.
Charm bracelet with one charm. Or buy one charm if she already has one.
Lush bath bomb set, they always do a Christmas gift set.
Christmas, the most expensive time of the year, now imagine maternity wage and your child’s first Christmas. Yeah that’s a lot to budget for. But I have a few gift ideas that won’t break the bank and is all available via Amazon. There is no need to buy expensive gifts, your baby or your friends baby will not care, as long as they can have fun.
I use Amazon due to being a Prime customer, I am guaranteed my presents ASAP.
Children this age love colour, noise, and to chew anything they can get their hands on.
All the links to the UK Amazon site for each to are under the photos.
Credit for photos go to Amazon.
Playgro Activity Rattle
This can come as a gift set with two other toys for £14.99 I did that and my son loves them.
This time of year I love to cosy up under a blanket with my book and candles. Plus my Instagram feed is absolutely covered in the same aesthetic.
I have previously posted a LONG time ago about my love for Yankee Candles but refuse to pay their prices, so normally resort to good old Amazon, for deals.
When browsing around for the cheapest candles I came across LatestDeals.co.uk – Candle list
I love cheap deals but wow the SAVINGS.
My favourite Yankee candles include Cinnamon/Spiced Cinnamon, Vanilla Cupcake and Black Cherry. These are my absolute go to candles.
Normally these large candles cost £23.99 on Yankee candles official site, Amazon – £17.98 but on this new site I found they’re only charging £13.63. That is cheaper than the medium jar candles available on Yankee Candle. With a new baby I am all about savings, especially with Christmas on the way.
I found this site uses loads of companies combined together to get the best deals, I simply click what I want and it takes me to the site with the best deal, this includes Amazon, Groupon etc. Saves all that space on my phone taken up with different apps. I need that room for baby photos #Babyspam.
The scent of candles just relaxes me as well as the mood lighting. I find just having the candle lit whilst watching tv gives me a cosy vibe. However money is an issue so I haven’t been able to buy many lately. My other half calls me a candle addict. With this site I just typed in candles and I was taken to the biggest list full of candles, accessories and gift sets.
My range of candles go from tea lights for that hot bath after a stressful day with my boy, giving me some much needed me time, to large candles in my living room in the evening.
This is definitely going to be a must have for me soon. I am so bummed it is out of stock right now. I could have got 4 of these for £19.99. WHY ARE YOU SOLD OUT!!
If you’re looking for some gift sets they are currently selling loads. Most are Christmas sets, but I want to show some to you. I am shocked. I even have my sister looking through it right now as we speak. Definitely buying some of these sets for my family.
Another bonus is they have a huge list of kids books. With my Nephew turning 8 months soon and my little man turning 3 months, I am trying to read to them as much as I can. As well as keeping Christmas in mind.
