So my son had his 16 week injections this week, poor little guy his legs are so swollen, but he is not worried one bit.
I am getting out a bit more with my little boy, Wednesday we went into town with my best friend Chrissy. Friday we all got ready to go out to a friend at works surprise 50th Birthday party, that was lovely.
I am super excited for the week coming, our new sofa’s are coming this Thursday eek, we can then rearrange the living room and make room for all of Clayne’s new toys. I swear he has more stuff than we do haha. Our living room has a huge jumperoo in the corner, a activity cube, bouncer and toys. WOW.
Hey all, I failed Blogtober I missed yesterday, and I am posting this late today. Oops but family comes first.
Now a lot of you know I love a good candle. I wanted to share two candles I have bought for Autumn time. And some I wish to try.
Yankee candle is my favourite.
The following images all link to candles direct.
These smell amazing. The Cinnamon stick is an all time favourite this time of the year in our house.
I really fancy trying these three this Autumn. a large jar is the best…. Going to have to search for a more child friendly spot to put these haha. After having guests over I am realising how nothing is safe with children.
Goodreads Monday is a weekly meme hosted by Lauren Page Turners. To participate, choose a random book from your TBR and show it off! Don’t forget to link back here and feel free to add your link to the comments section.
Nobody said love was perfect…
Roman Draganesti is charming, handsome, rich…he’s also a vampire. But this vampire just lost one of his fangs sinking his teeth into something he shouldn’t have. Now he has one night to find a dentist before his natural healing abilities close the wound, leaving him a lop-sided eater for all eternity.
Things aren’t going well for Shanna Whelan, either. After witnessing a gruesome murder, she’s next on the mob’s hit list. And her career as a dentist appears to be on a downward spiral, because she’s afraid of blood. When Roman rescues her from an assassination attempt, she wonders if she’s found the one man who can keep her alive. Though the attraction between them is immediate and hot, can Shanna conquer her fear of blood to fix Roman’s fang? And if she does, what will prevent Roman from using his fangs on her?

My Favourite spot to read in my house is on my sofa ( Super excited for my new ones coming soon), all the big lights off, and just leave my small light behind me on. Have a Yankee candle lit and flickering away in the corner….. favourite scent for autumn is Cinnamon, my other half loves it too. I will cuddle under a blanket with my hot chocolate and get lost in the pages of a book.
My second favourite spot is of course my bed, who doesn’t love sinking into bed with a fluffy duvet when it is cold.
While looking around the internet I saw some dream spots to read in and wanted to share them with you….. (I have copied all images and added via the image URL

Having a search around on the internet I found some creepy reads. I always use Goodreads and I came across, scary book lists…… Everyone gets to vote and I want to share the top ten books from the most voted list – Best books to read for halloween.
- The Graveyard Book
- The shining
- Complete stories and poems of Edgar Allan Poe
- Salem’s lot
- Interview with the vampire
- The haunting of hill house
- Carrie (I have seen both films of this and the first is better)
All I can say is Stephen King must do very well this time of year, haha. 3/10 are by him.

Hello my lovelies, a different bookshelf today…. my son is 3 months old and we have started introducing books to him. He loves colourful and is really starting to take interest. I have even added two books that were mine when I was young.
His room is quite small so we opted for some bookshelf ledges from Homebase. This is only a small collection I plan to add so many more. His first two shelves include :
- A world of Winnie the pooh ( this was mine from when I was little, lots of stories and a well loved book).
- Double book pack Room on the Broom and a snail on the whale, which is on the reverse (baby shower gift).
- The tale of Benjamin bunny (received this on my baby shower).
- Tyrannosaurus drip ( from our stay in Bristol hospital a charity called cots for tots gave every child in the NICU a book. This was Clayne’s and he loves it).
- Beatrix potter ( collection of stories, again this was mine from childhood).
- Lion king.
- Old Mac Donald heard a parp. ( got this as a baby shower gift did not realise I had to make noises in the story haha, was a laugh between me and Craig).
- Shiver me timbers.
- The other two little books I received from my health visitor as a way to encourage all children to be read to by their parents.
