The Silver Bullet – Solis Invicti Book 4 – GIVEAWAY.

The silver Bullet book 4
“To think of death as a thing of beauty: that’s a threshold you can’t cross twice.”

The truth is out, and Emmy is faced with a choice she dreads: surrender her mortality, or allow her frailty to threaten the nascent society the Silver are building. With exile the only reasonable alternative, she struggles with feelings she can’t define and a duty she’s reluctant to accept.

While the Silver city hangs in the balance, Emmy must remake herself to redeem it and save her friends. Her reinvention forces her to choose sides, threaten alliances and risk becoming like those she fears: inhuman.

The Silver Bullet is the final book in Josie Jaffrey’s Solis Invicti paranormal romance quadrilogy, set in a dystopian, post-apocalyptic London where a deadly infection threatens to wipe out humanity. The only people who can stem its advance are the Silver, a vampiric race who offer a simple exchange: protection in return for blood and subservience.

This ARC was sent to me in E book form, I was asked to give an honest review for a free copy.
Disclaimer:  There may be spoilers if you have not read the other 3 books!

Fourth week post the weepers coming out.  We follow Emmy and Ollie post another attack by Ben, accept this time Ben does not care about his own kind, everyone must go, or rebel with him.

Emmy annoys me, Sol has given her many chances to be with him, be safe.  Why can she not decide on a man, after all she has had Drew, Sol and now Ollie.  That is a lot of love triangles in just under 4 weeks.  But then again the feeling the world is ending can lead you to make last minute decisions.

Emmy passed the trials and is able to turn silver, however she now has a huge choice to make.  She has just found out that Sol, the leader has silvered for her – the biggest kept secret of all.  If Ben Succeeds in killing Emmy then he kills Sol, meaning one step closer to being the leader of the Solis Invicti.
Emmy still cannot make a decision argh.  She is stuck between a human life with hopes of a new beginning and perhaps a family one day, or does she turn silver, and go against everything she and her former friends believed in.

I cannot tell you too much more of the story as there would be too many spoilers.  This book is well worth the read to find out what Emmy chooses, the betrayal’s and the change in relationships, the drama and the plots.

What is the silver bullet?,  does Sol find the answer to save the humans and his own kind? or is Ben going to put down anyone in his path to seek power?

You must read this book, but read the series first.

Current Read: Defiant Attraction

Arc sent to me for an honest review
Dan might be the enemy of my enemy, but I’m not sure that makes him my friend. He’s definitely not my ‘step brother’, no matter what everyone at school says. Honestly, I don’t know what he’s supposed to be to me. Or what he’s becoming…

Fact: for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.

In the yearbook, I’ll be Sophia Ramos: Valedictorian. Years of honor roll certificates, AP classes, and lugging around an obnoxiously large cello case are about to finally pay off. If everything goes according to plan, I’ll escape these decaying suburbs for a top university across the country.

The problem? A few years ago, my mom met someone just as broke, just as drunk, and just as impulsive as she is. Approximately five seconds into their relationship, they decided it would be an excellent idea for him—and his son, Dan—to move in with us. (Spoiler alert: it wasn’t).

Now I share a house with none other than Daniel Cole. Even though Dan dropped out two years ago, he’s still the tattooed, bad boy, heartthrob, legend of St. Anthony’s Academy. He and I aren’t supposed to have anything in common.

Living together means war. First, Dan and I were at war with each other. Now, our rivalry is giving way to an unlikely alliance—two opposing sides teaming up against a common enemy: our respective parents.

Which is to say, we’ve been hanging out.

Question: What happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object?

Here’s the thing: My brain is a complex organ. One hundred billion neurons, each with an average of seven thousand synaptic connections to other neurons. My brain is my ticket out of here.

My heart, by contrast, is a pump. It moves blood around.

know Dan is off-limits. I know I shouldn’t do something I’ll regret. And I know how much is at stake (my family, my future).

So why can’t I stop thinking about him? Those inscrutable jade eyes. The smile that can say a thousand different things at once. That tattoo curving across his abs…

Even though I know better, I feel that pounding in my chest. And it’s getting harder to ignore.

But if I follow my heart, I can never go back.

Answer: There is no such thing as an immovable object.

What will I read next

After making a fatal mistake on the job, Lina Zuendel seeks shelter in a Seattle assisted-living facility as their live-in nurse. But peace is not what she finds. She soon hears tales of ghosts haunting the house, and of two tragic deaths that took place in the 1930s. Unexplained events send her to ask questions of the handsome resident houseboy.

Ren Schultz, a seemingly young live-in houseboy, tries to avoid his growing attraction to the new nurse. His secrets are too dangerous to share, no matter how lonely he has become. But Lina is persistent, and soon uncovers dark truths that no one else has dared
to face.

As their attraction grows, so does the intensity of the paranormal activity. Can their love survive the mysteries that lurk in the old sorority house?
